The invasion and ultimate subjugation of Greece twice attempted using millions of soldiers by the mighty Persians Darius, then Xerxes failed to accomplish what Brussels pulled off with a mere battalion of apparatchiks, a Goldman Sachs hatchet man and the UN’s humanitarian herding playbook. Serving the greater purpose of supporting the global Ponzi scheme, the attempted retardation of Greek spirit on the pretence that national sovereignty was prodigally frittered away on a series of bad financial bets will not wash!
So why do Greek politicians still pretend that any shade of Capitalism is somehow at work here? That rules established in the 1930’s still apply to a financial system gone haywire? They’re greedy, desperate and illiterate, the end. But RMI asked for a longer rant. Hmm habitual class division keeps people voting for happy slavery as they grab at their illusory stake in the system with funny money conjured up through debt-building dependency programs instead of long-term solutions. Greece is a treasure trove of bonkers EU edicts whose nefarious purpose was to bloat the civil service and micromanage the extraction of sweat equity or die trying, now they’ve got about 50 Cents left in the Central Bank.
For up to the minute English language review of the political scene in Athens, the best coverage is over at The Slog. If you’re browsing around for light entertainment, drop in on political theatre impresario Mr. Panos Kammenos, he’s worth checking out and so is the Far Side right Golden Dawn in the last election cycle. As a clever PR stunt, GDs use of Nazi-style regalia is too clever by half for most people’s taste but there are many worse things in Greece that have come into being through the adaption of foreign societal systems that are barbaric in every way to a historically autonomous people.
Spearchucker Panos: Mad as hell and not going to take it Tour! Starts @ 3:36
The question that begs to be asked in all the confusion arising from what looks to be nothing more than a wild extortion racket is whether those poor, wretched, asylum seeking people driven out of their own countries by war and coercion will be welcomed in greater Europe now that Greece is practically flat broke, divvy them up. The true figure of refugees and migrants in Greece is closer to 4 million souls with richer prizes on the itinerary than the prospect of fruit picking in Larissa. The port of Patras already hosts too many desperate travelers on the next leg infiltrating Italy, it’s become a bottleneck.
Events as reported in controlled media often comprise malicious attacks against Greek character, bank accounts and culture at the same time, time-honoured debt-collection tactics. It’s Stickem-up in a pay-as-you-go Toll economy, sign up to penury or tell your gods to ready for blood, pay tribute for the next century and a half or it’s curtains when the global ‘security services’ douse the Balkans with the smell of napalm in the morning.
Oh yes, THEY can and will do it! Non-Believers will tell you to this day that Milosevic got ‘done’ for not supporting the heroin pipeline into Europe, simple as that. The mad Balkan region is bad-guy central because it’s natural bandido country and therefore most fertile ground for George Soros et al. He and his crew have been buying up US and foreign gun manufacturers lately but they also quietly scratch lines in the sand guiding their own Balkan agitators for the better part of 40 years as the means to Soros’ ultimate ends.
Former Yugoslav Republic of Whaaaat?
To name a few, they support Skpoje’s wannabe Macedonians and groups like The Federation of Western Turks of Thrace, both very eager to express themselves by carving out a hunk of northern Greece as Kosovo did for Serbia and that fiasco too began with uncontrolled Albanian migration that formed the nucleus of the KLA Mafia.
Escapees of Hoxha’s paranoid iron fist in the land of a few thousand fallout shelters could never imagine the international community would first fight for Kosovo and then hand it over to them as a gift, a stolen Serb territory protected by the West in perpetuity, what luck. Ironically though, they might have been better off back in Albania where they’d certainly be prepared to duck the nuclear fallout if Fukushima went China Syndrome. For now, the remaining Serb minority in Kosovo is an administratively conquered people who will be damned if they don’t put up a fight, lucky for the weapons merchants too then.
Terrorist cum Freedom Fighter cum Terrorist, Come On!
Added to the influx of so many Muslim migrants to Greece, festering border troubles have enshrined a runaway police state apparatus that feeds off an anger and frustration once practically absent in Greek society, the local crime rate just 30 years ago was nearly not worth reporting. Today’s plight is underscored by the fact that many illegal aliens are party to hard drug dealing in Kosovo sourced Afghan heroin as the only way to guarantee themselves a meal or more. Nazi-chic Golden Dawn’s cringe worthy success in taking the political temperature should be a lesson to us all that people are close to breaking point.
Ben Franklin pegged it at 3 days when fish and guests stink but the EU and UNHRC figure Greeks should do their fair share in ‘permanently’ absorbing the human after effects of globalist aggression that their government subscribes to by proxy and active NATO participation. Bizarre rumours are gaining capital, even ‘talk’ of plans for concentration camps to house unwanted foreigners gets reported as fact. The story goes that funds to re-brand them as disaster centres is already on the UN’s to do list, as per Mr. Kammenos.
Greek diaspora blogs are alive with talk, most of it sensible but there is speculation about a HAARP induced mega earthquake or some such manipulation to cloak the globalist entry and foreign military locking down the whole peninsula, Haiti style. “Go tell the Spartans, they know how to sort this kind of sh*t out!” says one distracted expatriate. That’s a very racist statement according to EU policy and if Brussels had their way, they’d exclusively hire illegals go to dig up the bodies at Thermopylae and unceremoniously dump their remains in the sea. FWIW, we’ve never, ever been at war with East Asia!
Bespoke Enemy: Islamic economic migrant pawns of the New World Order, Athens
Things are at an impasse, the profits of mega fraud must be laundered, converted into irrevocable asset claims and there’s just so much dirt to go around. It’s only fitting that events pre-determined to shake the globe to it’s foundations would take place in up to the eyeballs mortgaged Greece rather than say Upper Volta. This is what a globalist showdown looks like, master tacticians have bona fide history to confirm Greeks wouldn’t shrink from a fight and they played them for suckers all the way to the Baltic shipyards.
It’s no accident the ex-Defence Minister is pickled in the pokey for grabbing upward of 250 million euros in bribes for weaponry contracts. Credible opposition abounds in a siege atmosphere but elite provision to counter another Leonidas at the head of 300 MPs in opposition to the bankers whims is also a given. The man of the hour is not Syriza’s wunderkind Mr. Alexis Tsipras as advertised, don’t bet on it but do expect a cult of the dispossessed lefty unemployables to swallow him up whole for the man is a creampuff.
Sunny, Sweet, Subsidised lefty student days!
He has acceptable credentials and they haven’t actually figured out who owns him yet but his desire to remain in the Euro zone is dead giveaway we’re all far too familiar with by now. Part of the deal for entering the New World halls of power is support for multi-culturalism, the kind that’s irritating the hell out of everyone but particularly the hopeless 50 plus % looking for a steady job. It’s obvious Tsipras was groomed to grab the nettle, to keep the ECB snout in the Greek trough but things need not go much further to get downright classical overnight. Jim Goad’s quote says it best and deserves repost;
“Only a detached leftist academic would think that in a time of economic depression, mass immigration of mostly unassimilable and often culturally hostile foreigners would help the working class rather than harm it. Only a deluded leftist ideologue or a media-brainwashed useful idiot would keep scratching their head at the persistently stubborn resurgence of nationalism without pausing to ponder that perhaps tribalism is an ineradicable human instinct rather than a sinister psychological aberration.”
“O Stranger passing by, Go tell the Spartans here we lie, Obedient to their Laws”
The economy is a wreck, the average Melina eats less souvlaki and newfangled taxes are being extracted through utility bills to ensure insolent non-compliance invites immediate pain to please their betters in Berlin. Greeks have been labeled conspiracy theorists too for their rejection of a bailout that rewards marauding banks with over 84% of the total proceeds with interest to boot. Banking cartels never had such power and they won’t usurp it now if the man on the beach in mirrored sunglasses has any say in the matter.
An air of effortless invincibility has preceded plundering bankers but captured Greek politicians foresee a gnashing of teeth session dead ahead. They’re switching sides and grasping at cocktail straws, which will probably be worth more than Drachma 2.1 when reinstated. Tons of hooky paper circulating in discombobulated global markets has Greece written all over it but the fingerprints belong to mostly French and German originators sitting in The City of London and they do have private armies at their beckon call.
Orwell warned us about doublespeak and words meaning something else to Big Brother’s insiders. Modern economics is infested with it beginning with the word Capitalism, it’s a joke on us. Too and two doesn’t equal for so it’s our own dumb fault if we’re caught out in wordplay. To elaborate, Greece implements a Toll economy to pay up or they’ll get “a Cap in their Ass” as they say Downtown. It’s a trick from the College of Abbreviators, the formation of new words out of 2 words. Puts neo-con CappyToll-ism in a whole new light!
