Whore On Terror: Is Cameron A Liar Or Just The Least Informed Man In Britain?

Anwar Al-Awlaki is a name we should all be familiar with by now. The American born terrorist chief touted as the new leader of Al Qaeda is a superstar celebrity across the NEWZ spectrum but don’t expect any juicy gossip or personal trivia befittting a z-list reality show contestant. This man has fame by-the-numbers and all YOU need to remember is “Muslim bad, everyone Else good”.

Al-Awlaki is a paid agent of the Pentagon and has been a favoured guest there at least one time that we know of, as reported by Fox News. He controlled the Muslim Major who supposedly opened fire on troops at Fort Hood and is “known” by US authorities to be in contact with every shade of bad guy from Kabul to Kalamazoo. A ‘Kill or Capture’ order against him doesn’t seem to have impeded his movements from one hot spot to the next, most recently in troubled Yemen.

Imagine our ‘shock and awe’ to find the Telegraph’s headline; Anwar al-Awlaki is ‘next target after Osama bin Laden’. David Cameron jumps right in with this tasty morsel;

Mr Cameron told MPs: “With respect to Anwar al-Awlaki, I am in no doubt that he is an extremely dangerous individual, who is behind some of the more recent plots we have seen”.

As news stories go, it’s as tiny as they come but Cameron’s message is more like fan-mail than any actual threat of direct action to ‘take out’ the culprit. The operative word here is ‘asset’, that fine distinction between real enemies and those who cause trouble that tangibly helps those in power to stay in power. Pummeling A-Awlaki in the international media ups his credibility with radicals, while his handlers make certain no American kill-team ever gets close enough to whack him. He’s not ‘really’ dangerous so it’s all harmless fun better known as realpolitik.

Why oh why then is Britain’s Prime Minister feeding the public this tripe? It’s all a distraction whose endgame is no less than the removal of the monarch to establish a republic. His partner in crime Nick Clegg presented his plan to reform the House of Lords and it’s all downhill from here on. Ministers are permitted to say whatever they please within the confines of the House of Commons but any republican speech outside it’s confines is an undisputable act of treason, they’ve been extra careful.

Dave used to be a nice guy if appearances are anything to go by. In the days when he could often be found leisurely wandering around Notting Hill, having his bike stolen on the Portobello Road and looking as dumbfounded as the rest of us, one might have sworn he was a regular guy. For many, his concern about normal things in everyday life meant the people would have a champion who understood their predicaments, all he needed was a chance to prove himself. “The assassin arrives with a smile” as the Sicilians say!

After winning the election in an ‘anyone but Labour’ runoff, Dave proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was probably one of his staffers who stole that bike and another who tipped the newspapers on the ‘incident’. His policies highlight a continuity of New Labour’s agenda with hardly an original noise coming from Number 10 apart from a new improved disrespect for “The Law”. He and his cohorts are on a mission to remove the queen so we have some words of caution for those who hanker for a ‘democratic’ republic; “Be careful or you might get what you wish for!”
