CIA In de Nile : Is Removal of Egypt’s President Presaging Attack on Iran?

“How many Howitzers? Three divisions, with kit? Is the Air Force still on side? What are Egyptians abroad saying?” This could be a stunted coversation from deep inside the bowels of the Pentagon but it transpired at the Electric in West London Friday night. A friend of RMI and Egyptian businessman, let’s call him Omar (his real name), laid out the reasons for failure no matter who sits as president;

“It’s a dangerous neighbourhood, full of angry foreign criminals going berzerk”.

Touché

Mubarak made himself an obstacle to conventional globalist war plans for Iran by rejecting a permanent move to embrace Israel. He confided to a friend they’d put a knife to his throat. Still, not a disagreeable impasse, we’ve been there before and the Peace Accords remain in place so what’s nagging the power players this time?

The grain business is well under control and they managed to sneak in most price rises under the noses of people who’d just been awarded % wage increase of way less by comparison. Soft-conquest EHM financiers imposed catastrophic agricultural restrictions on Egypt, balanced against their investments in grain import and Monsanto GMOs. And then there’s the oil but China’s the Mack Daddy there, even over the US.

Omar tells us the sudden rise of the Chinese investments in Africa caught Western mineral extractors by surprise. Genocide in southern Sudan to rid themselves of those pesky Fur somehow backfired when China bought in. They mostly have the beautiful people to thank for this gift of petroleum aplenty about to come a gushing. Is George Clooney with the CNPC outside the movies? America’s consumers too, unknowingly pre-financed endless purchases of everything the Chinese may require on the Dark Continent in future. It’s no wonder, laundered American cash financed Mao too!

Now the same US government that helped de-industrialise their country for countless corporate buddies in favour of oriental hunting grounds is quietly whispering; “Yellow Peril”. Direct action would be maladroit, even for the hapless CIA, they’re much better drug running. Long range planning and Low-Key, read Muslim Brotherhood, operations they decided was the only way to head off the Chinese at the pass, bagging Egypt in the bargain, sans Mubarak. Three wise and ancient cultures find themselves pitted against conniving, bloodthirsty arrivistes, then there’s the Russians, plus ca change.

Stay with us here, if Egypt couldn’t be counted on to go against Iran, they’d simply be removed from the equation.  Most people would sit by the TV as normal if and when the Iranian attack happens, some would rise in protest for Teheran but the Egyptian Army has a recently negotiated obligation with Beijing in the near opposite direction. An attack on Teheran will inflame Muslim Sudan to unknown degress of disobedience.

People forget there are two Niles, the Blue and the White, which finally carves it’s way through Khartoum. That’s where the Chinese anticipate having trouble some day soon, they built a few caveats and terms into their agreements with Egypt stating that if they bankrolled the country now and CNPC got into trouble later, the army next door would dash in to save the day. Befuddled US AFRICOM planners cried foul to a deaf Cairo. With no other option, they had to squeeze Mubabrak out efficiently and quick-time.

Sun Tzu would be proud but Leon Panetta ain’t, the CIA went to expense and trouble to make Julian Assange a star via Wikileaks but not for this result. He’s beside himself, pondering if it’s plot. But which plot? Maybe they forgot to tell him, need to know etc. Preposterous as it sounds, Obama wants to run in 2012. What’s Leon supposed to do now, his nearest depleted uranium munitions depot is a zillion kliks away in Qatar?

If ever it needed to be demonstrated how empires are brought to their knees by wretched schemers, we couldn’t have asked for a better vantage point than rudderless Egypt. Slasher Suleiman of the  pliers and blowtorch association will do what he’s told, he’s a good troop. How he handles Iran and the Chinese when they come a callin for enforcers is quite another matter, if they’re already busy in new Middle East wars.
