The people of Egypt, like the rest of us want to be left alone but when food subsidies and their daily bread are under this sort of attack, there is no recourse but to hit the streets to voice their anger. Moodys and their fellow ‘made men’ exist to keep us all poor, as the standard. Painting the situation as something other than what it really is remains the job of propaganda organs and captured pseudo-patriotic movements, specifically the Muslim Brotherhood. If any outfit deserves scrutiny, it’s these guys.
Established by the British in 1926 along the lines of the Great Game, these power seekers work hand in hand with Western intelligence to incrementally subvert society. Their annointed leader, Mohammed El Baradei has already called for Mr. Mubarak to step down and get out on the strength of his pre-approved script straight from his foreign handlers. But liberal credentials and NWO ‘darling’ status may not be enough. A few kilometres to the east, Israel voices support for Mubarak and prepares for war. Ouch, no need to wonder anymore where Hosni’s billions in Swiss accounts originated.
Mubarak bad, El Baradei good? Grownups know life can’t be that simple yet television Newz doesn’t flinch when running sham popularity contests. Their shareholders need eyeballs on screens to make a dividend but tell that to someone in Suez feeding a family on half a dollar a day. Egyptians are a simple people but that doesn’t mean they’re simple in the head. When ratings agencies create a difficulty for governments to raise money on the bond market in tough times, the hand of the puppetier reveals itself. It doesn’t take a degree in Political Science to figure out legal extortion, read The Godfather a couple times. Same tactics but with officialdom’s stamp of approval.
