Gung Ho for the Corpses

Why oh why do Armchair Generals and Pencilneck Politicians enjoy using military jargon so much? Gung Ho for the Corps is the mysterious motto of the US Marines so being it’s poodle mascot might give one the right to use it, it’s a stretch.

British Prime Minister “Call me Dave” Cameron has a mission, save “Call me Tony” Blair. It’s times like these that afford us a glimpse into the workings of the ruling party, left and right wings. Throwing a useful apparatchik like Coulson under a bus to grab headlines and pulling charismatically challenged Gordon Brown back into the fray smells a lot like team spirit. They “hit the ground running” for the “Big Swinging Dick”.

Washing the blood from Blair’s hands was never going to be easy but at least the government can depend on one thing. There won’t be anything anyone can do about whatever outcome has already been decided. Of all the certainties in life, government doing wrong and getting away with it has become the norm. Dragging along the population of Britain as accomplices to massive homicide is their only motive and people are properly desensitised to the engineered consent. Moving on, Dr. Kelly…
